John is working on two new CDs: One is 'The Bowery Hymnal' a collection or some of the best songs he's written over that past fifteen years,
most of them while living on the Bowery in Manhattan, hence the title. The other is 'Back in the Loony Bin',(More Stark Raving Songs)- a collection of many fine wild songs in the same spirit as 2004's 'Stark Raving Songs'.
Apart from a few guest appearances at a few downtown Manhattan clubs, he will not be doing any full length live shows until these two new CDs are finished.
In the meantime please visit The Deep Rantings or the Advice Column, or go to the lyrics tab to some of the songs which will appear on The Bowery Hymnal and Back in the Loony Bin.
Vertical Songs is re-issueing two of my old albums as CDs. These are An Angel Somewhere, and Nails and Crosses. They will be available from this website and from CD Baby.com on November 25th 2007.
